Of course, I still have another month to get excited and say goodbye!

Preparations for Departure
I am currently working for The Kenyon Review as an RA for the Young Writers program, a summer program for high school creative writers that I attended as a rising senior in high school and have since worked for as an RA for two years. Such an employment opportunity has allowed me to prepare for my time at the Newberry Library by reading extensively, recharging my batteries with frequent swims in the Kokosing River and bidding my beloved college farewell, at least for a few months. I'm trying to squeeze in as many bookstore bagels, Dairy ice cream cones, Goodwill trips, river swims, country bike rides, evenings with friends, chai teas from Middle Ground, and South Side breakfasts as I can before I depart for the land of El trains, lakeside beaches, and deep dish pizza, not to mention a beautiful library filled with invigorating and daunting research opportunities.
